The Darjeeling Limited – Movie Poster

This movie poster was inspired by Wes Anderson’s movie The Darjeeling Limited. The train, dominating the composition, symbolizes the journey of the three characters. Elements from the film appear throughout, some placed in hidden spots, and the colors are, of course, inspired by the Indian flag. The poster is part of a series created by reworking illustrations from my book Sur ta Fin, which explores movies through visual and written interpretations. I adapted these illustrations into standalone visuals, presenting them in new graphic composition contexts.
