L’univers de Maya Akiki, à la fois onirique, poétique et graphique, est pour le Léopard Masqué un véritable apport artistique. Maya sait répondre aux attentes et sensibilité des auteurs avec qui elle travaille. Le résultat obtenu sur la couverture de Pop Hole est vraiment excellent. La tendance psychédélique voulu par Gordon Zola est là, avec toutes les nuances nécessaires pour sentir l’ambiance des Beatles. Un travail dense est détaillé où sont cachées subtilement une trentaine de chansons des Fab Four. Maya apporte vraiment un plus en matière de réflexion et de création.

Maya Akiki’s dreamlike, poetic and graphic universe is a real artistic asset for Le Léopard Masqué. Maya knows how to meet the expectations and sensibilities of the authors she works with. The result on the Pop Hole cover is truly excellent. The psychedelic tendency intended by Gordon Zola is there, with all the nuances needed to feel the Beatles’ atmosphere. The dense, detailed work subtly hides some thirty Fab Four songs. Maya is a real asset in terms of reflection and creation.
