Packaging designs for Poème chocolates
I created four visuals based on Poème Chocolate’s mood and character, for four Poème chocolate boxes:
– Pistachio Kunafa
– Pistachio Kunafa, no added sugar
– Pomegranate Brownie
– Pomegranate Brownie, no added sugar

Objective of the design
Understanding Poème’s values and identity:
Poème Chocolate has a distinct identity centered around quality, uniqueness, authenticity, and creativity. It also evokes a dreamy, comforting feeling, true to its name “Poème” (which means “poem” in French), offering a moment of relaxation and indulgence with every bite.

Why create a new illustrated design:

Concept development
Concept: Poetry and flavors
The brand name alone transports us into a dreamy world. I wanted to highlight this aspect by incorporating the poem “La cuisson du pain” by Belgian poet Émile Verhaeren into the design, by using the poem as a unifying element across all boxes. Since Poème is a French word and the chocolates are Belgian, the connection felt natural. The ingredients used in Poème chocolates are beautiful and appetizing in themselves. By illustrating them clearly, the flavors become instantly recognizable, even without reading the information on the box.

What inspired this design:
Nature, culture, poetry.
Aesthetics:
The poem will be part of the box design, as if the box had been torn to reveal a piece of it underneath. This creates a sense of mystery, like a small intrigue, and reflects the creativity and artistic spirit behind the Poème brand. The ingredients will be illustrated on their respective packages in an elegant way, using soft colors.
